Miss Lindsey, Instructor

Lindsey Armour is a professional dancer, aerialist, choreographer, and educator. She received her Master of Fine Arts in Choreography from Wilson College, as well as her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance Performance from Oklahoma City University (Cum Laude). Lindsey began dancing at a young age in Fort Worth, Texas, training at several local studios, including the School of Contemporary Ballet in Dallas. Lindsey was dance captain at the Alabama Theatre in Myrtle Beach, SC. She performed in the production, “ONE”, as well as, “The South’s Grandest Christmas Show”, as a featured dancer and aerialist. Lindsey performed with Novell Enterprise’s production company for Dolly Parton’s “Pirate’s Voyage”. She had the honor of performing the lead female role of “Scarlet”, specializing in aerial duo silks, as well as a soloist on the hammock. Lindsey was the dance captain, magician’s assistant, featured dancer and choreographer for The Sandcastle’s production of “Magic of Saipan”, where she also performed as a lyra soloist. Lindsey performed in Guam, as a featured dancer and magician’s assistant in Sandcastle’s production of “Dream”. Lindsey has trained extensively in ballet, tap, jazz, pointe, partnering, contemporary and musical theater. In addition to her background in dance, she has trained and performed solo and duo silks, aerial hammock, lyra, and spanish web. Most recently, Lindsey has choreographed, produced, and directed the contemporary, evening length show, “Verity: the things we carry”. Teaching dance all over the world, including Saipan, Guam, Texas, Oklahoma City, California, and Myrtle Beach, Lindsey is committed to fostering a safe space for dancers to explore artistically. Lindsey is excited to continue sharing her knowledge and passion for dance with the students of Pulse!
