Kaitlyn Sowles is a Philadelphia-based dance artist who began her training in West Michigan. She grew up studying ballet, tap, jazz, modern, contemporary, and Hip-Hop styles. Kaitlyn is a graduate from University of the Arts in Philadelphia, with a BFA in Dance under the direction of Donna Faye Burchfield, and a minor in Business. Most recently she has performed in works created by Katie Swords Thurman, Tommie-Waheed Evans, Sidra Bell, Sara Procopio, Jesse Zaritt, Netta Yerushalmy, and Shayla-Vie Jenkins. Kaitlyn specializes in commercial and contemporary styles and loves to be in collaboration with the dancers that she works with. Kaitlyn is so excited to join the Pulse team this fall and looks forward to inspiring and being inspired by all of Pulse’s dancers!
